Here I thought I was creating a fun and expressive take on kitterwings for furcadia's junkia's spring festival contest. I didn't plan well. The image is wonderful in person and in large size. But with their size restriction its looks like mud. I will be uploading it anyways but all the charm is lost to the small image restrictions.
Such a disapointment when I've put my class assignment on hold just to finish this. shame on me. Not good going from one challange into another when I'm so frustrated with the results. I know it wont be seen as it is ment to be seen. Lesson to the wise. Always consider the size restriction before you get carried away.
I see no mud whatsoever! In fact, it looks very skillfully done to me. As usual, the thing that strikes me most is the incredible attention you pay to texture, and all the details of the surroundings and background. I like this peice very much.
Wow! the lineart and details are just terrific!I just don't understand how you managed to draw this so details with simply pencil shading! great job indeed!
by the way, how is that Western themed drawing comming along? I'm still waiting in excetement!

Thanks Azy. But this is the full sized version. The other version is terrible. Its only 500x300 but since my image was off slightly on one side I was only allowed to make a 425x300
You can see where I run into the mud issues. its so small that you can't see anything but Eamon and the bridge.
